Just picked up my 2013 Subaru BRZ which I'd waited 12 weeks for after "doing the deal" with Gino Genrikh (Internet sales). The whole process was smooth, flawless and went exactly as Gino described. No hard pressure sales techniques, no BS, and the price was as good as / better than I could find anywhere else locally. All in all the best car purchase process I've ever been through ... none of that "I'll talk to my manager and see what deal I can get you" crap which just annoys the hell out of me. Do the research), decide on a realistic price and keep emailing until you get it. If not from your first attempt then keep going until you get it. I found that Gino was reasonable in his negotiating approach and very personable when we finally met up. Oh and the BRZ is just GREAT !! :)
I'm a brand new customer with Diablo Subaru and now own my first one, a 2014 Subaru Forester. I highly recommend Gino, there is no pressure with him, he listens to you and guides you through the whole process. Even though I tried to do as much research myself, Gino educated me on all Subaru's and how they hold there value, Insurance on them is not bad at all, they are very safe strong vehicles and will last a very long time. Gino gave me internet pricing and he kept in constant contact with me. So, the first time I met him, we didn't take a whole lot of time choosing a car because I had an idea of owning a Subaru Forester, he just convinced me to really do it and I'm very happy I did. I will definitely be a loyal customer and will highly recommend Diablo Subaru and of course ask for Gino -
I bought my 2011 Subaru WRX at Diablo Subaru, and although my sales experience was great, it's the service department that is the focus of this review. I'd like to express my thanks to Charlene, who has done a fantastic job taking care of me ever since my first oil change. She's personable and really cares about her customers. In the future, when my car gets out of warranty, she will be the main reason I come back for service. Thanks for the outstanding service and keep up the good work!

Great service and parts department. Not only did they take the time to show me how to do the repair myself but also showed me the tools I would need to get the job done. The 10 minutes Frank spent with me saved me over $1000. A big thanks to Frank and all the really great service and parts specialists at Diablo Subaru.

I purchased a new Outback from Diablo Subaru and the overall experience was smooth and stress free. I did all my research online regarding pricing and options so when it came time to buy I was pretty informed.
I also used which puts you in touch with all the local dealers and lets them know you are looking for the best online deal. It is also helpful to know the local inventory so when it comes time to negotiate you know how much leverage you have.
At Diablo Subaru I worked with Gino who was very easy going and knowledgeable on the cars. He was not pushy at all and knew how to sale you on the benefits of the car. He was also able to come up with the best price out of the 3 dealers I negotiated with. Diablo Subaru did not have the exact car I wanted, but Gino was able to secure it (from one of the other dealers I was talking to) and he had it there the next day. The following morning, I went back to the dealer filled out the paper work, which took a while as the finance department was having some issues, but in a couple of hours I was driving away my "online purchase". Overall I am happy with the car, the service and the transaction.
Had a great experience there buying a used cx9.Tom was cool enough to pull the suv up front for us and had it ready to drive.All from our call saying we wanted the car if it was in great condition. We already thought we were going to buy but had to look at it. we had test driven another but walked away. He was honest and helped us through the process. only reason for 4 not 5 stars is the dealership needs to upgrade.
My work takes me everywhere, and I ended up needing work on my beloved(and almost always reliable) Subaru Forester. I limped the vehicle in after making a quick phone call and the service department took care of my car so I could come back to my family that night! Best car buying experience I've ever had. Saw they had the STI that I wanted. Called the internet sales manager and made an offer. No haggling or back and forth stuff. He took my offer and I got the exact car I was looking for. I made the drive from Sacramento and was in and out in less then 45 minutes. If I ever buy another subaru it will be from them.
We just bought a Subaru Outback 2013 from Gino. It was a great car buying experience and we would highly recommend working with him if you are in the market for a Subaru or a Mazda. We spent close to a month debating on purchasing the car and Gino was patient, responsive to any questions we had, and provided us with clear information without ever seeming too pushy. We searched several other dealerships before settling on one, and Gino was the reason we chose to travel to Walnut Creek to buy our car.
