Everyone knows the Subaru lineup has lots of quality vehicles to choose from. What you're going to find are options that meet the needs of many. While they might be more practical and reliable, there's also room for the automaker to experiment with performance, and that's exactly what they are doing.
Called the Subaru STI E-RA, it's a concept that has 1,000 horsepower from a 60 kW lithium-ion battery pack. The goal is to see how the performance goes on some of the top tracks in the world like the Nürburgring and see how it performs. This is all set for 2023. While we're not going to see this racer at our dealership, the constant innovation in performance is a good thing. Most of the time, stuff from concepts trickle down to production vehicles. That could mean minor technology adds and more, meaning there's a bright future for Subaru.
